Message I have both TT and NA Z's I can't say that I notice much of a difference between the two except for my other TT that has Hicas. Me personally I wouldn't even consider reusing a steering rack from another Z unless it was mine and that way I know that it had been rebuilt.

I mean, for a part that is 20 or so years old why replace it with a part that is pretty much probably on its last leg too. Just get a new one or one that has been rebuilt and be done with it for a nother twenty years and might as well consider replacing the hoses.

This seems to be one of the most over looked issues that I see when people are redoing there Z's. Not to mention the fact that it seem to be a very common issue, atleast here in FL.

As far as the power steering rebuild I would like to know more about that. As I have two spare PSR that are not in use both good, plus one is a TT and other is NA. I imagine that they can be, I just have never thought of doing it.

I must say that I have seen where it can go wrong as my friend had his inner tie rod replaced and he got maybe two years out of it. So for the cost of rebuilt ones and time I would just go with the newly rebuilt ones. (w hoses and Steering Knuckle)
